Emergency Medicine & Pharmaceutical Education
Dr. Jason W. Wilson, FAAEM is a consultant and advisor to two major pharmaceutical corporations. He also serves as a faculty trainer to other physicians conducting peer-to-peer education.
Dr. Wilson has served as a moderator for emergency medicine advisory board members and is the director of an active research program that cultivates public-private partnerships between a university, a hospital, and multiple sponsors.
Dr. Wilson is available to consult on education, marketing, and research strategies that help deliver high quality emergency medicine and acute or critical care.
Dr. Jason W. Wilson, FAAEM is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He serves as core faculty for the USF EM residency program and gives multiple didactic lectures throughout the year and also organizes the research and evidence based medicine curriculum in compliance with RRC guidelines.
In addition, Dr. Wilson is faculty for the Florida College of Emergency Physicians (FCEP) board review course and has also provided CME lectures and workshops nationally. He is available to lecture at your board review or CME course as well as to assist in educational objectives and design for new courses or programs.
Dr. Wilson is interested in using technology to improve board review and resident education through combinations of asynchronous and synchronous learning techniques utilizing podcasting, videos, and virtual space meetings (e.g. Google Hangouts).
Emergency Medicine Research
Dr. Jason W. Wilson, FAAEM is the Research Director for the Division of Emergency Medicine and the Associate Research Director for the Tampa General Hospital Office of Clinical Research.
Over the last year, Dr. Wilson has brought in external funding of $750,000 across 14 studies. He is available to assist with study design and as a liaison to find appropriate clinical sites and Principal Investigators to successfully meet enrollment numbers and execute efficient studies.
